Every great sporting moment has a soundtrack, and it is rarely accidental.
Walk-out songs are now scouting reports of personality. A soca record signals joy and defiance. A slowed-down piano loop signals control. Athletes are curating identity before they touch the ball.
Crowds do the same in reverse. A chant is a collective instrument, tuned over seasons, capable of shifting momentum in ways analytics still struggle to quantify.
